Hi,

I had a thread going about a strange spike tomahawk, and about a couple of guns trhat came out of the same house. Some of you wanted to see the guns,so I'm posting them here.

This is an original Leman rifle from Lancaster Pa. and is so marked on the barrel. The lock is marked Leman, Lanctr pa., I think. On the lock it is hard to read. The rifling looks really good on this gun. I don't believe it was used to much over the years. The last picture is of a couple of powder horns from the same guy.

Wow. That house you found surely had a treasure trove within. You are truly blessed with some great finds.

Man! These guns AND the "spike" hawk, all from the same house. What a beautiful, historic find! I hope you say a prayer for that widow this Christmas, or at least a kiss under the mistletoe!

I think she is long gone by now. Found that house and bought those guns and things some years back.
Ya don't find stuff like that much anymore. If I remember correctly, I paid pretty good for the stuff back then. Must be around twenty years ago. Love this old junk.

Yeah, I would say right around that time period. The John Shuler is from then too. Wish I could find some more guns like them
