Thanks, I have never built a muzzleloader pistol or rifle, looking at the kits and descriptions it seems they will pretty much assemble it or at least make sure all the parts will, fit with the exception of stock finishing work and metal finishing, wonder how difficult one of these would be.

I've not purchased a kit or assembled firearm from him just parts so would be best to call & ask.
Some other forum members will likely be more up to date on a finished pistol or a builder who can fill your order.

I would not have trouble with a builder, the last rifle I had built a Andreas Albrecht the builder done a good job on and is not very far from where I live. Also the rifle was plank built so I would think this would be a easier build for him, the other thing is I would really like a brass barrel. Might have too do some thinking on this. Thanks for the suggestions.

You have good taste in style of pistols , I prefer the same. If you've considered building one this supplier in Idaho has a kit of the same style your looking for & belive it comes with a pre-inletted stock. I've included a link if you want to have a look. Muzzleloader Builder's Supply Home Page

I built this cva 50 cal pistol in the late 70’s from a kit, so far I kill 5 deer with it, they were close I haven’t shot it since the 80’s
