I took my .62 Leonard Day Fowler hunting for the first time. I had previously done a lot of load development and she ended up liking 80 grains of Goex 2F and a .020 patched .595 ball. Trail camera showed no decent bucks, so I wasn’t too picky. Happy to put her to work. From what I can tell, I’m the third caretaker and this is her first kill. Hopefully, there will be many more.

I've never seen one of those long guns before. Would like to see how it is held to be fired. Thanks for sharing your story of the successful hunt.
It’s held basically like any other rifle. You just need to find the sweet spot on the shoulder. It’s very balanced and handles very well.
