Lets see some squirrel rifles

This is a .32 I made for my wife many, many moons ago, she no longer shoots, so I use it for squirrels and such, along with a .40 I posted in that column about muzzleloader gem's.

German silver is a bear to work with, used a full pack of jewelers saw blades on the patch box alone.
It is a great shooter though.

I made a plain TN rifle in a .40, Green Mountain barrel, Chambers late Ketland lock, this gun is a tack driver.

Next, I assembled a Kibler SMR in .32, wonderful rifle but the rear sight was too far back for my old eyes, I didn't want to move it and leave a patch on the barrel so I sold the rifle. The date stamp on the picture is incorrect.

A great friend gave me one of his Bogle rifles in percussion, it is a .40 and yes, the builder is the fifth great grandson of the famous Joseph Bogle and a Joe Bogle as well. Joe hand forged all the mounts.

This TVM late Lancaster .32 w a rice barrel, was my first build a few years ago. . . My biggest issue is not shooting it enough (not easy where I live in suburbia.) . . it is more accurate than I am right now. . .when that changes, I'll hunt squirrels a little more often with it than I do.
