As the snow flies this winter I want to build as many paper cartridges as I can for my .31 .36 and .44 cal revolvers
I am settled in on my paper, powder, projectile and lube dipping mix for each caliber
I am thinking I may want more than one method of storage ..like simple 1X8X8 wood blocks with caliber coordinated holes drilled to hold like 100 rounds.. and then into some form of air tight like lidded plastic storage containers to make them stack-able or simply 1 gallon zip lock bags non stack-able
Then there is what to have them in when traveling to the range or field (here I am thinking 1/2" ID clear schedule 40 tubing with plastic end caps ..the thinking here being I can then access the individual cartridge from either end)
I also have the equipment, wood and know-how to build the period like wood flip top paper wrapped original type but I am leaning to above more air tight durable methods ..
Lets see or hear what you guys are doing for bulk storage as well as field carry of your fragile paper cartridges!
