This is Horn #64, finished today. It's a fine, double-twisting, Left-carry horn measuring 13" from spout tip to Mahogany base.
I like how it came out; it was a designing challenge (headache?) to balance the heavily engraved border areas with the two central plaque items. (I generally start decorating my horns with borders and work my way to the center. It's usually a surprise to me what developers!) I didn't want to detract or congest the elaborated borders within the whole design, so that it would all work together. I think over five hours just deciding on what to incorporate for the side plaques!
Anyway it's done and I hope to have it out for display at the CLA show.
Ps; the Latin inscription translates to: "Liberty Floods All Things With Light"
