load for a 1837/1842 Mre Rle de Tulle French navy percussion pistol

I have an antique French pistol .60 cal that I would like to fire. what would be a light load for it?

I wouldn’t go much over about 30 grains 2f or3. That’s if the barrel is in good order and if it’s 60 cal, maybe a .58 ball and a thick patch

I don't see any rust or pitting, wood is solid with no cracks

20 to 30 grains of 3f would be fine.

We would enjoy seeing a photo if possible.

This is what the internals look like. found this photo online

the wood on the pistol is near perfect. metal looks like better condition then most online. It had belong to the estate of someone who served ww2 in Europe. I only paid $200 for it. I did not know if it was a repo or original so I priced it as such.
