I just bought two t/c patriots one in .36 and one in .45 cal. I plan to shoot the .36 at our pistol shoots and found the t/c states to use 2f powder. With my rifles I use swiss 3f and would like to know if I could go down on the powder and use the swiss 3f ? thanks to all that reply JSAMS

I shoot both in my Patriot, ffg and fffg. Both work well. The Patriot is a wondereful handgun.

I shoot a Patriot. For me the FFFG powder burns cleaner and shots are more consistent. Enjoy your pistols.

I suspect that if TC said to use 2Fg powder in a .36 caliber patriot it was what is known as a typographical error.

Pistols have been using 3Fg powder for years and the smaller the caliber the more reason to be using it.

Thanks for the info, we have a pistol shoot this saturday and I will give it a try. jsams
