I obtained a box of the .54 Barnes 325 gr Expander MZ sabot bullets. The Barnes online data only has Pyrodex loads for this projectile. I prefer to use the 2F Triple Seven or Goex in my Trade Rifle (1:48 twist). Barnes recommends a velocity range of 1400-1800 fps. Can anyone provide some info on a good load to start with for the T7 or Goex? These bullets are very pricey, and I'd like to develop a load with as few shots as possible.

Ok. Copy that. I guess I need to find a group that can help with traditional muzzleloader shooters that need to use acceptable non-lead projectiles for hunting. Have any links or info? Thanks.

There is sister site ModernMuzzleloading .com I believe, that discusses topics like yours, with sidelock/tradional guns.

That site will probably be quite helpful.
