Hello, Does anyone know what brand of lock this is? I don’t recognize the logo. It was in my wife’s grandfather’s shop. He passed in 1981 so he had to of purchased it in the late 70’s or early 80’s. Any help would be appreciated.

Looks like a stylized 'E A' so, maybe Euro-Arms? Just a WAG on my part.

Thank y’all for the quick replies. I’m having Jack Garner build me a rifle with it or I would sell it to you deerstalkert. I’m writing notes about the different components that make up the rifle so that my kids will know the details when I die. I hope they will appreciate flintlocks as much as I do.

it is a nice one to use for your purpose. I was just joking and trying to convey it is a desirable lock. i just wrote a check for three L&R Manton locks so i don't think i will be short of locks!:thumb:
as soon as you showed it i remembered that my pistol needed cleaning. it has a Haddaway lock. that led to polishing the lock plate. that led to polishing the brass pan. that led..............
anyway nice lock.
