Well after what seemed like an eternity I finally received my stock from TOTW.

I already had my sight dovetails filed, barrel and tang fitted and draw filed.

It only took a couple of evenings to inlet the tang, barrel and lock into the stock.

This is an early Hawken full stock flint lock in 54 caliber. It has a double throat hammer.

It is nice to be working on it again.

I like it, My best rifle ia a 54 half stock flint lock Ozark MT.In the white it was 500.00,finished it was 770.00. I got it for 375.00 back in 80" only thing I don"t like now is the weight 67 now and like to carry the light ones, were back then didn"t matter,Old age is what it is called. Heres is the formula for old age You do a lot of thinking, lot less doing. Dilly
