Just finished my rifle and just need to get the sighting in done,{you know the fun part}. It is a Lancaster style with mostly steel furniture, but i did sneak in some brass and silver. Not very pc but i build to use. The rifle has a 42 inch rice swamped barrel and is 50 cal.First swamped barrel build and i dont think i would want anything else. Has a chambers deluxe lock and they are very smooth and make for a nice trigger pull. Get ready for pictures.

The one thing i wish i had used was a brass patchbox, i think it would have looked better. It is rust blued, i think i need to take the steel wool to it and get rid of some of the new. It might help.

Boy..........that is nice, perhaps too nice for you......maybe you should send it to me?... :rotf:

Very nice work BK :hatsoff: , I like the rust blue look and think you done an excellant job of mixing in the brass with the steel furniture  Good Luck & Good Shootin'

Something to be proud of for a long time. I'm in the process of restoring an oldie and ordering my first build. Just wondering if you could share what type and grade of wood that is and what finish and technique did you use to bring out that grain.

You couldn't possibly ever sell something that beautiful.

Now that is really nice there. I think you just changed my mind on what my first flinter might be!
