Been in that boat before brother.I drooled over those back in the day, with 3 young ones a Hatfield was out of my price range at the time, I wouldn't mind running across one now that I have a couple extra bucks.

Those Hatfields are nice-looking rifles, but that extreme droopy butt stock has so much drop that I can’t get comfortable trying to look down the sights when shouldering the gun.from the hills of NC. I've shot a lot of different shaped rifles with differing drop. I always wondered if there was a school of though to each. By that I mean the local favored way of holding.
