Check out On The Trail, depending on what
you are looking for, this might a good choice.

Also I'm from Germany I have subscribed for the Muzzleloader Mag. since 1,5 years and I enjoy it very much. nothing comparable here in GE.

try FUR-FISH-GAME, not a muzzleloader mag but a down to earth hunting, fishing and trapping mag not full of BS like all the other outdoor mags

Muzzleloader is the one! The Backwoodsman is also good (if its still available) but kinda leans on the survival side a bit. Sure had a lot of ideas on how to make sumthin' out of nuthin'!

A membership in the NMLRA will get you a monthly subscription to Muzzle Blasts. There are a lot of ads and information, in addition to page after page of club stuff. I take Muzzleloader, Muzzle Blasts and Smoke and Fire to keep abreast of what is going on in our little piece of reality.

Kirrmeister - Smoke and Fire is a monthly newsletter that lists all reenacting events in the US, whether it is Medieval, F&I, or WWII. There are a few articles, but mostly it is all about where to go and when. I don't know if you would find it very useful, unless you intend to come to the US to participate.
