Looking for fellow shooters in My Area

Greetings fellow Black Powder shooters I live in northern Mississippi and I'm looking for fellow smoke pole shooters close that would like to get together and ignite some charcoal, saltpeter and sulfur. I have access to a shooting range that I belong too. I also do not mind traveling some to meet you all.

They are field Representatives for the National Muzzleloading Rifle Association in Mississippi and they may know of some folks or clubs in your area. It's worth a shot if you don't get any responces from our members.

Where in N.Mississippi are You located.I lived in Blue Mtn. for a while,also in a place called Keownville,just outside of New Albany.Used to deliver furniture frames to Ripley and Corinth. :thumbsup:

Unless I miss my guess, the "Mississippi Dixie Muzzleloaders" is the only NMLRA charter club in the State. I have been a member since it organized and was a member of the older club before MDML.The only problem for you would be that the home range is located in Columbia, Ms. and is a 90 mile drive south for me, so would be roughly a 250 mile drive for you. we would be delighted to have you. The Walter Mabry Zoni referred to is a member and Jack Garner has attended a couple of the State C'ship. shoots.

You might look to Tennessee. There are a few clubs near Memphis. Hatchee Run is one club.
