Ok fellow shooters what did I buy? see pics.
It's says Navy Arms , Ridgefield NJ.
BP only 36cal.
See markings,
It's not a peitra, checked with them.
I know the AA means it was made in 1975.
This gun has Never been fired.
When I got it you could pull the hammer back in the cylinder would barely rotate, I took it apart it still had the manufactured grease on the cylinder shaft, scubbed it all off with a wire brush, oiled it and now it's been freely just like it should..paid 75 for it.

That's the Replica Arms logo. They were an importer of Armi San Marco, Uberti and Pietta. Navy Arms bought them out.
The round barrel, smooth cylinder (no engraving) brass frame and 36 caliber makes it a Griswold and Gunnison.
Might be something under the frame/barrel where the serial number is. Sometimes they just used a logo.

I bought that same type made by Navy Arms in the early 70s and it cost $60 new. Shot it till it got loose in a few years.

Yes for being never fired, and 75 bucks,couldn't pass it up. Lol

Those stamps are proof marks and the AA is the date. Last place you can look is under the loading lever. Otherwise it's just a guess on the maker. My guess is Armi San Marco, they were the most popular.
This is the 1993 Navy Arms ASM logo .
