Looking for regular shoots.

Just joined this forum. looking for a place to attend regular monthly shoots within a reasonable drive of my home in Smith county Tennessee I was a member of the Gallatin Gun Club but I believe they no longer have a regular shoot and the Owl Hollow Gun Club I think lost the lease on their range. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Are you sure about the Owl Hollow club? That was on Charlie Hafners place and I thought his son was still involved in burning black powder. If that has happened the BP fraternity has lost a fine old venue.

That was my understanding from about two years ago. They were looking for some land to purchase when the family who owned the property thought they could make more money subdividing the property but that is only what some of the people that I used to shoot with told me when I asked where I could find a regular match to go to. I agree I shot with a lot of good people down ther several times. The nightmare target was a personal favorite of mine.

Go to NMLRA.org and click on charter clubs. Might be something in your area. Also have list of shoot dates for clubs on website.
