Looking for Wedge for Austin Halleck Mountain Rifle

I bought an A&H mountain rifle missing the wedge. Can anyoue help me find one? Thank you!

Must be an older gun, cause the one I had had captured keys. I would check TOW for a replacement.

I assume so. It was made in Missouri, not Utah.

They are very easy to make. Start with some 1/8" bar stock and beat on the end till you have the makings of head . Then clean up and make your size with files

Sorry; I got side-tracked and missed the second point in Grimord's reply above, "I would check TOW for a replacement." To be honest, as a muzzle-loading novice, I didn't know what "TOW" was at the time. I now know that the acronym stands for "Track of the Wolf". Sure enough, TOW has wedge pins, lots of them, in fact:

Take your existing wedge and make it a captured wedge (key). You won't have to worry about losing it.
