HI Mloader40 What is the yellow or gold color on the piece ..Can it be removed easily ???...Rocky

Ruger did not make a brass frame. They made a grip frame of brass.
This is a nice deal. For collectors the brass adds value. They are
trending over 1000 bucks and this one has the mold which is great.
This is low cost for what it is. Appears someone treated frame to match grip
frame.

The pic in the case looks all stainless. The others look like either bad lighting or something added to discolor the stainless. I don’t think it’s a brass grip frame.

What is the mold? Ball or conical? If conical, round nose or wad cutter, weight?
