This past sunday we attended a flea market near the Tennessee River and I spied a Investarm .50 carbine with a nickled bore. Adjustable rear windage and elevation. Recoil pad, strap mounts, double(set)trigger. Like new shape. after pricing and dickering, ho-humming... what ever it is called in your parts, I parted with fifty dollars and had myself a new gun.Being aware of past practices of unloading stolen guns at this place, I ask for a bill of sale with the sellers name, address, and driver permit number. All was provided and the deal was done. It looks a lot like a Lyman product. My question is this... is Investarm and Lyman guns made by the same supplier?
Thanks

Yep Investarm makes Lyman guns. The one you have is the Hawken Hunter from Cabela's. Chrome bore. Not a bad deal for $50. Have fun with it.

I bought one a couple weeks ago at a gunshow for $130. Mine is .54cal. Shoots great with 60gr Pyro RS,530rb,.015 lubed patch. Have fun, sounds like a great deal.
