Looks to be unfired to me but cant guarantee it. I am the second owner. Beautiful rifle with great wood. Has some patina on the brass which could be cleaned up but I like patina.
Adding a new brass powder flask, 25 hornady .490 round balls and some patches to help get a new shooter started. Great rifle, I just have too many. As I understand the laws this can not be shipped to New Jersey, Illinois, Washington D.C. & New York City.

The actual weight of this rifle is a well balanced 9# 8oz. Not sure why Lyman list them as 10.8 pounds.
