I have a Lyman 57 aperture sight and a TC New Englander and am wondering if anyone has put one of these on the NE. Why buy the TC peep sight if this one will work? Have you done it, is it feasible? Thanks.

Forgot to mention, the 57 aperture is the 57SML, set up for the Lyman muzzleloaders.

If you can use the TC hunters peep sight then you should be able to use the lyman sight. I have the lyman on my TC hawken and it works good. The only thing is that you might have to drill and tap an 8/32 screw hole for your gun while mine already was done. :v

p.s. Tapping 8/32 screw hole is off the top of my head it could be something else. I know it says in the lyman instructions what it should be.
