Lyman and RCBS roundball mold handles

Hello everybody,


I am wondering if the RCBS mold handle (that I currently own) will fit the LYMAN mold blocks for a 58 caliber round ball (which would use the LYMAN large handles)?

It is too bad that RCBS doesn't sell a mold block of the 58 caliber round ball, or I would buy it in an instant!

Just trying to save a little $$$

I believe so. I Have a set of RCBS molds and lyman handles, at least my set works fine together. BJH

Did you have to grind the Lyman jaws down to fit inside the RCBS mould?

Sir,

I can't speak for anyone else, but I have a number of Lyman and RCBS molds. My RCBS and Lyman handles work effectively and interchangably on both RCBS and Lyman molds. Maybe I'be been merely lucky, but I've never had any problem with interchanging RCBS and Lyman handles and molds. This is to include on minie ball molds,which IMHO are the finickiest molds that I've ever worked with.
