Lyman barrel change

I have a left hand Lyman great plains hunter 50cal with the fast trist barrel for conicals. doe anyone make a drop in barrel in 40cal for prb target work thanks in advance for any help

bigbang, green mountain is making complete drop in,s. try track of the wolf,s web site.If I remember right, they had barrel,s in 40,50,and54. from a fellow cracker, happy new year.

The key here is left handed. The TOW barrels are not made for left handed. I also suffer from being L/H in a R/H world. Have managed to acquire a left handed barrel for my lyman trade in 32 cal, flint.

Thanks Phil It looks like I will have to buy a quality barrel and have a gunsmith fit it to the lyman, I dont have the metal working ability. By the time im done with it I will probably have more in the new barrel than the gun cost me new. I have the Lyman peep and the hooded front site It should make a nice target rifle. It will be a bit heavy with a 50 cal barrel channel with a 40cal hole, good thing its only a 32inch barrel Thanks BigBang
