Lyman Deerstalker in .50

Hi anyone use this firearm in .50 I want to know loading data for this arm. I have .490 RB using Swiss 3fg anyone got loads to share . I am a first time user and the firearm is unfired.Also on hand 14 thou patches to go.

My son has a Lyman Deerstalker lefthanded percussion in .50 cal. I bought it new for him a couple years ago. The best PRB load we've worked up has been between 50-65 gr. Triple7.
Nice shooting gun. He really likes it. Enjoy. :results:

I shoot 3f...40 gr at 25 yds, 50 gr at 50 yds, and 60 at 100 yds...works well for me...gun is a pleasure to shoot..Hank

My Lyman Deerstalker likes,
50 grains and .490 PRB with .018 ticking.
I bump it up to 90 grains for hunting.
