Hi,
Could somebody please help me out?
I purchased a Lyman GPR kit ( personal sale) and the story is, I'm missing a few parts.
Would anybody have the Lyman web site?
Thank you
Old Ford

Hello Jamie,
I live 4 miles north of Iroquois, Ont. which is between Prescott and Morrisburg.
These little towns are located on the St. Lawrence River.
Don't ya just love this black powder stuff?

Thhey gave you the right one! They have all of the parts and they are good people to do business with. I bought a front sight and the primitive rear and the price was fair as was shipping. I have been tempted to get a 54 slow twist barrel but they are pretty pricy! Geo. T.

I bought a Lyman GPR kit and found it so incomplete that it was impossible to finish it. Also, the barrel channel was way to wide for the barrel.

Subsequently, I bought a finished GPR, stripped it down, and finished it to my liking. But still, it was not what it should be for the money.

Lots of people buy and love the Lymans, but not for me ever again. My next Hawken will be from Pedersoli.

Put a Lyman GPR kit together over 25 years ago. The stock has some beautiful fiddle back and I browned the barrel and hardware. I is the most authentic looking gun I have.

Good luck with your kit. :)

Don't know if this will help, but I bought a .54 cal barrel for mine, as I thought the .50 had gone bad. I ordered mine from Midsouth Shooters Supply, was advised by Lyman they would be cheaper. Seems like I paid around $120, barrel and Tang, 3 yrs ago. HTH, Al

Built mine in 1982, named him Lucifer. Paid $125 for the kit.
