For sale is my Lyman Great Plains Rifle.
- Right Hand
- .50 CAL
- Flintlock - 1/66 twist
- Made in 1979, my Dad purchased new in 1980. We are the original & only owners
- Factory Built
- Rear wedge pin sometimes (depends on humidity) can be loose. I usually insert a business card when needed. Front wedge pin is solid.
- The sights were replaced at Dixons about 15 years with fiber optics. The original sights will be shipped with the rifle.
- I estimate about 90% condition. This gun has been used, but not abused. It has been hunted (that is what it is designed to do). No rust, no pitting, barrel is in excellent condition. No major scratches or dings that I can see. Again – this is not a safe queen, (and has been hunted) but my family maintains our guns impeccably.
- Attached picture is at 50 yards, 80 grains of 3F with PA conicals.
- Shoots great, absolutely no issues with this gun. Only reason for selling is I am saving up for a Chambers kit.
- More pictures available upon request.
- Asking $500.00. I will split shipping 50/50 with the buyer. This will be shipped in a wooden crate.
