Just thought I'd share this. My new GPR .54 perc. came with a twisted front sight blade. It was skewed off to the left from a poor casting or mishandling of some sort. (Was not parallel with the bore.) I emailed Lyman, they replied a day or so later, and a new (free of charge) front sight showed up today...maybe four days after I first contacted them. Great service!

Lost a barrel wedge off my GPR. My fault! I tried to find one, but couldn't. I finally wrote to Lyman as to where I could find one and how much? Lyman sent me one free of charge. That is customer service!! Just bought my second Great Plains. This time in a flinter kit.

Wish I'd have paid more attention to mine. Bought one in August, didn't like the thickness of the front sight. Lucky for me, my father runs a maintenance shop with a lathe. We shaved the top 1/2 of the sight down to about 1/3 of original, with the lathe square to the base. When we were finished, I noted that the sight was skewed horribly also.
