I actualy have owned three TC Hawkens and one LGP all kits guns the LGP the only "new" gun and having ran a lot of balls in ,50/.54 thru them all from the mid 80's thru 2001, I could not give an edge to accuracy to any of them but the asthetics from a historical position which is a real big reason why I am into this hoby had to go with the LGP, it also fit better as the TC guns are designed so as to be comfortable with tall modern peep sights and scopes, in the long haul it will be what fits the best for the individual as that will be about the only real variable, I have nothing to report on either gun with modern or period style conicals as I have never found a need for them, a .54 prb will take down any game animal in North America except maybe the big Bears and it would most likley do that if one had the projectiles to try it.

All I can add to this is that I now have 3 Lyman GPRs, and not a single TC ML, any questions? But the main thing will be how they fit you, and not any of us. If at all possible, shoulder both ans see which is most comfortable for YOU. There's some of us here who love GPRs, and others who love TCs, and we've all made the right choice as they're both great guns.
