Hi Guys,I would like to fire it through a chronograph aswell, it would indeed be interesting.I never had any problems w/ the stock cracking. The way her muzzle rocks upward in my hand seems to do well for absorbing the recoil.Quite a fireball aswell.I have taken to using a 30 grain 3f charge for plinking but for hunting backup I go w/ 60 grains 3f.Interestingly enough I got that load from Lyman themselves.I had called them and spoke w/ a woman.I asked what the Min./Max. loads were. She went to check and when she returned she told me 30 grains 3f min./ 60 grains 3f max. Ok by me, who am I to argue.Been shooting the pistol like that since 1995.I never have fired any type of conical in it though. That could drive the pressures/ recoil up,no only a patched .495 ball here.
