I have had one .54 cal. for 30 years and have loved it. It's better than the GPH Lyman that I had IMHO.

I've heard lots of good things about them. Invest Arms used to make them and I own one of those. Good rifle.

I have an Investarms Bridger Hawken I purchased new last year. It’s a very well built and accurate rifle. As mentioned above, Investarm built Lymans rifles for quite some time. Pedersoli is now making them now. I’ve never owned a Pedersoli but I haven’t noticed anyone complaining about them.

I own a Lyman Trade perc .50, flint .54 and Great Plains perc .54 pistol. All work good. I like them. Investarms turns out durable and reliable arms with less than stellar fit and finish.

I've got a .54 caplock, according to the inspection tag in the box it was made in 1999, I like very much. Actually I bought three from Midsouth Shooter Supply way back when. At the time they cost just under $200 each delivered. Two of the three went to co-workers, these rifles were one of the best values in muzzleloaders at the time. I've heard Lyman has gotten out of the muzzleloader business, too bad as the number of commercial manufactured muzzleloaders seems to be dwindling.

There are quite a few brand new LTR's on GunBroker right now. Perc and flint. Great prices too.

I had an older .50 perc trade rifle for years and loved it. Clover leaves all day.

Lyman has stopped making firearms, I read.

Lyman did not make muzzleloaders. Investarms in Italy made them for Lyman. Here very very recently Pedersoli made the Great Plains rifle for Lyman. That relationship did not last very long at all. Several folks have called Lyman asking for parts or information and have been told once all in stock muzzleloaders and muzzleloading supplies/parts/etc is sold, it's gone for good. Investarms is now importing into this country through another vendor called Muzzle-loaders.com

Dixie Gunworks had more rifles in stock than Muzzleloaders.com when I bought my Hawken last spring. Lots of Investarms and Traditions and some Pendersoli's .
