if there aint pictures it didnt happen but i gotta share any how and i'll try to get pics up soon.
we got some needed rain here a couple weeks ago so i took advantage of it by makin a few things from a old pig skin welding jacket. from the jacket i was able to make a hunting bag with a braided cotton strap dyed with strong black coffee and the flap is held by a wood button. a ball bag tied with lace cut from the jacket, a belt bag about 4"w x 6"l with the loops sewn with cotton string,no button, a flint wallet tied with lace, and i had already made a frizzen cover and cows knee from it a while back and i still have enough left for several more small bags and such.
when i get the pics on some of you guys are gonna get a good laugh out of it but like i said before i just gotta keep in mind not every frontiersman was a master craftsman either and just keep doin my bestus. i actually borrowed a camera from a co-worker yesterday to take pics last night in hopes of posting them today but was in bed and asleep by 8 last night right after chores but i will try to get em on tomorrow.
i will forwarn ya, hte thread used for the seams is not HC and is visible in places, i used a ( dare i say it? ) synthetic used for outdoor furniture cause it was what i could get localy.
Thanks fer lookin.
