No big story for this one. I got to the woods this morning just as it was getting light. Less than 10 minutes after I sat down 8 deer came through., They were only about 30 yds from me and I didn't dare move. As they slowly passed to my left I raised my .62cal Jager rifle. I'm a lefty and shoot left handed but I didn't dare shift my body to line up the shot so I brought the gun to my right shoulder and lined up the sights closing my left dominate eye. There were no bucks in the bunch so I picked the last big doe and squeezed off my shot. When the big 600 ball pushed by 110gr's of 2ff hit her she dropped like a stone. Sometimes things go as they should.
