Now, add three more .50's and you can go to WW2 Reenactments. :)

Would you like to add that photo to the Buckskinners Afield segment of Buckskinner along with the details? Great buck, great rifle. Let me know! :master: :master: :master:

ever think about a Jaeger? .54 or .58 in a short barrel, but with a wide butt stock to absorb the shock. Real powerhouse in a smaller package

Sure StumblinBufller what else would you need?

Actually my "Short Rifle" is in the works. It will be based on the 31" .58 cal Colerain Jaeger barrel, shortened to 29". Lock will be a Late Ketland Chambers lock. Furniture will be The Rifle Shoppes "Clark Rifle" set in Iron. The stock will be one of BJ Habermehl's English Rifle stocks.

I want to thank Mr.Habermehl for his advice, guidance and work that he is doing to make sure this project gets done. I thank him very much for his kindness in this matter.

just needed your permission to use the pics and your name. I just lifted the pic and it looks like a winner.

Well, actually I need your full name and rough location.

Also, who did your contract rifle? I'm not normally one who likes to have deep gouges run dug into the bore of his gun, but I am partial to the Contract as I am sort of a Lewis and Clark junky. I'm thinking about building one of TOTW's Contract kits, but, I am not sure yet. I'm already working on 2 other guns, on top of 3 others that someone else wants put together, on top of trying to go squirrel hunting, on top of waiting for deer season to open here in Michigan, ON TOP OF TRYING TO RUN A MAGAZINE!

the jaeger sounds great...rifle Shopppppppe makes goddde stufffe. I need to order some 1728 French furniture from them soon for a "military surplus gun" that I am working on.

See yuh!
