Hi,can one of you tell me the name of a good magazine
that covers all about muzzleloading. Not just hunting, but shooting for thr fun of it.Thanks,Squib

Join the NMLRA and get their monthly MuzzleBlasts mag. Muzzleloader mag comes out 6 times a year. I get both. Neither is like Guns&Ammo or Shooting Times and the like--they both tend more to articles on reenacting, history, gunsmithing, ads, etc. Occasionally there are "shooting" articles--the bevel brothers column in MB mag has alot of tips, for example. In short, except for occasional articles, there is no mag out that covers traditional MLer shooting and hunting per se.

I have let my NMLRA membership lapse, and frankly, I don't miss the magazine at all!

For anyone interested in actual 18th century stuff, there is only one...Muzzleloader. (though there are one or two "historical trekking" magazines.)

I get two magazines,'The Muzzleloader Magazine' and
'On The Trail'.The second is a journal for Historical Trekkers,Reeanactors & Students of Living History.

I think they are both worth their money, and they are the only one i can get to Germany :cursing:
:hatsoff:

Buckskinner.

Man, I still am mourning the loss of that one in it's infancy. :(

I've got five or six years of Muzzleloader I still go back to occasionally, but Muzzle Blasts is the only one I currently receive.

This place is better than a magazine. :haha:

:cursing: I still miss the old NAPR magazine Buckskin Report. Those were some good years and good issues. And then there was one called Rendezvous....lasted about 5 or so issues? :shocked2: And what did happen to the publisher of Buckskinner? does he show up at any events since the publication went under???? :hmm:

I'm with you Stumpkiller, I really miss Buckskinner!

I get MuzzleBlasts and On The Trail now.

Jon
