Making a peep sight, I cant find it again

I read about someone making their own rear peep sight a while ago and now I cannot find it. Anyone know who posted that or where it is ?

Would like to try this if I can get some more details.

I think a thumb screw and locknut as a rear sight would also work and be easier to make.
