Making a wrap

I have some linen that is begging me to make into a caped wrap hunting shirt. Might even dye it with the good old walnut husk dye.
Anyone made a wrap from scratch? Did you just "guess out" a pattern?

It's pretty easy. Mostly rectangles. "Tidings" is a really good book.
