Stock dyeing and finishing questions

not to sound lawerly, but "it depends." If you have maple, i'd go with LMF stain and their stock fnish on top of that ... this has worked well for me in the past ... also, yes, go with a but plate.

Fiebrings alcohol-based leather dyes are great. These were all done with it, then Watco Danish Oil and Renaissance Wax.
