Gary,how do these mount? I know some use existing sight holes , but do you have to drill and tap the other mounts? I have a sharps rifle.

They Mount with dovetails and you can drill for more positive mount.but not required

How long is the basic scope?

25 inch without sun shade ,there is a 3-5-7-9 shades that go with it .your choice as to witch one you want or none. Then there is the adjustment for Heath that is a add on. Scope normally $475.00 shade tubes 10.00 each adjustment 80.00 all for 375.00
