That could be it! I have tried to measure the bore, but it is hard for me to get a very accurate measurement with my calipers. I am going to cast up some balls with my molds and see what fits best.
 
Thank you, hawkeye2. I took a look at that Rifle Shoppe offering. It may be worth it trying to contact them. It would be an option, but it can be tough getting a reply from them sometimes.

You don't really need a rest for a matchlock of this type.
The rest was for the heavy muskets, and as these could weigh well over 20 pounds you Did need a rest!
For these lighter arms, no rest would have been used.
