Matchlock identification

Labeled as Japanese, however I don’t believe it is at all.

Closest I’ve seen to this form is the top of this photo from the museum in Tbilisi, Georgia. The matchlock was acquired in Bukhara, modern day Uzbekistan

Way out of my field, but there is a spitting image of your gun illustrated and labeled "Chinese" in my old tattered copy of a "A glossary of the construction decoration and use of arms and armor" on page 442

A simple Google search for "Chinese Matchlock" shows many somewhat similar to the top one way up above, but I provide no photo proof here ... because none have the provenance to prove the exactness.
