matchlock sight materials

So asking a few folks here, when it comes to matchlock or other early peep sights ( or match holders as some claim).

I want to say all the ones I have seen were steel.... Anybody find any of brass or other materials in these types of sights?

Well maybe no one knows so I made one of each on Tinker2's lathe. I'm sure I or someeone else can make use of one of these tube lights.
