Zonie has it right...as usual..if someone wants
to get more powder in a chamber they should get
a ryfl...and load that to the muzzle..no facts..
just opinion

The book that came with the 58 that I fooled with said 30 grains max. I always stuck to that with a .454 ball & a wonder wad. Accuracy was good. The Chrony read around 800 fps.
