Maxi Lube

I just received my rifle in the mail last night, I been looking all over for patch lube while gathering up the rest of the needed supplies. He sent along something called Maxi Lube, can this be used as a patch lube? as you can tell I'm new to this stuff.

Yep you can use it. It is just a thick bore butter. or basicly lard and bees wax , or crisco etc. You may want to warm it up a little to thin it.
