Well folks it's been a LONG while since I HAD to buy my favorite powder, 777. So long in fact that the last time I purchased some it was around 14.99 a lb. I got around 25 lbs of it. Well anyhow to make a long story short..I am about to run out.. so I decided to check into getting more..and HOLY manure is it expensive!!!!.. like 32-35$ per lb around my area..I am considering making the switch to Goex as it still around 15-20$ per Lb. I have been known to ruffle a few feathers about preaching the word of 777. SO now I'm sure I'm gonna eat some crow for this.. :blah:

That is a lot for 777. It goes for about $25 a lb in my area at Gander Mountain. I cant buy black powder here so when I order BP it cost me more per lb than 777. Good luck.

I think you can find T7 a lot cheaper than that. Call around and see if another store in another town has some. Or order it from one of the places that deal online. It runs around $25 here. Check with some of the local Trap/skeet shooters and find out where they get their powder. We have a local club that sells shot, wads, primers & powder. The club will also order T7 for those who want it. Last time I check their it was about $22 tax included. I have another store here that has it in stock all the time for about $25.

Want some salt :rotf:

Goex is cheaper by the case than that and better in my humble opinion. Powder Inc. has more Kik in as well and it is cheaper than the Geox and many feel it is as good. I have had only good experiences with Jerry at Powder Inc. :hmm:

Crow ain't so bad with some salt and pepper ... I've had it a few times. :rotf:

I'm very happy with my KIK from powder Inc ... Try it!
