I'll be in Memphis this week, can anyone recommend a good store to go by? I'm mainly looking for some real powder and molds, but you never know what else I'd find that I can't live without!

Thx in advance!

Drive the 100 miles north to Union City. Home of Dixie Gun Works. In Memphis, take the Gibson guitar factory tour.

May want to give them a call first. I'll be going that way myself in a few months and they asked me to call ahead if I wanted to buy some powder. Good luck

Not sure about Mid South. I thought they were mail order only. Their web site only gives a phone number and e-mail. Hopefully someone else knows and can share that information.

I was born, raised, and lived in Memphis until 6 years ago. Take the two hour drive north on Highway 51 to Union City and visit Dixie Gunworks. It's worth the trip! I 2nd the motion on the Rendevous....they cook a dry rub rib that is superb. It was Elvis' favorite bar-b-que place.

Tonight, we ate at Leonard's. Pretty good, but VERY different from TX BBQ. Not sure I'm into how sweet the sauce, corn, etc. was. I think we'll shoot for Dixie on Friday. Should be plenty of time to get up there.
