Bad falls are very dangerous. Last June my wife tripped and broke her shoulder. Lots of pain and discomfort before and after surgery. Recovery was long, slow and painful. Fast forward to today, she has regained the majority of motion to her arm and discomfort is almost gone.
Hang in there Mike, you will be good as new in due time. Could have been worse like a head injury. Be positive and patient, the body will heal itself. 🙏

Dang. I always enjoy his videos. That must have been one heck of a fall given the extent of his injuries, He'll be out of the shooting for a bit till that heals up right. Hopefully he'll be able to subject vids on other aspects of our obsession, err, I mean hobby, in the mean time while he is mending, Wishing a full recovery Sir.

I saw it on you tube as well. His son posted what we are reading here

Saw this post from his son today. Get well soon, Mike! The man has had a damn rough time lately.

"This is Mike’s son Rob: Mike had a fall at his home on Thursday the 15th. He dislocated his left shoulder, broke his right arm, and broke his T6 vertebrae. He spent a week in hospital where his shoulder was set and his broken arm was operated on. He was then transferred to a rehab facility where he will remain for what will likely be 4 to 6 weeks. Right now he can’t use either arm so he can’t use social media himself. He most likely won’t be posting and videos until some time in late April or early May. I will post updates as things progress. Dad is in good spirits and focusing on the work needed to recover. Thank you for you continued support."
Sorry to hear this news Mike. Have learned so much from your video’s! Godspeed and Get Well Soon!!

Mike projects strength and resolve and I'll bet you he will be back faster than the prognosis predicts.

I enjoy Mike's vid's and, being a student of U.S. regional accents, I usually sit mesmerized listening to his pronunciations and articulation. [eta: He would probably get a kick out of my deep dixie brogue in the same way LOL]

Get well soon, sir!

I recall he had a shoulder issue several years ago. That's a shame it's happened again. Hope he gets well soon. I saw him at Dixons gun fair a while ago. Wanted to talk to him but he had a nice crowd around him so I didn't get the chance.

Almost missed this, so here we go. Best wishes for a complete recovery, Mike. Can't wish for a fast one, cause let's face it, at our age there is nothing good about going too fast. Take your time and get better, we're all patiently waiting to hear more from you once your able to get back into the swing of things. If you're anything like I am when I'm laid up, you're plotting your escape, making plans on what you're going to do once your free, and conspiring with your family to sneak in some real food (and maybe some bourbon). Looking forward to whatever you come up with. Get well old friend.
