Got my Mike Lange built Fowler in the mail yesterday!!

She looks good, she feels good, and when its not so cold that snowballs need a coat Im sure she will shoot good too lol

heres the package pre opening.... well contructed shipping container.

the rifle was well packaged and buried in a ton a paper lol...it came out of the box as nice as it looked going into it

shes making my old carpet look pretty good right now lol

The fit and finish of the rifle is pretty good, especially for money spent. who can argue ...

this is my favorite part of the rifle....i love the but plate. its very well inlet and looks good

the lock is very well inlet, and functions like a dream. The positioning of the pan is flawless..and probably one of the best triggers pulls ive ever seen on a pinned trigger

Over All im very happy with the finished product. anyone whos looking for a reasonable hunting rifle/smoothbore should seriously give him a call. Working with mike was a dream come true, hes very freindly and lets you know what he is/ is not able to do.... when I asked him to build be a new england fowler he said hed give it a shot but had never built one...I would say he did a pretty damn good job of it... its met all my expectations and then some. Hmmmmm what to ahve built next?

That DOES look awfully nice! I got a Penn. Reading Rifle from him last year. I sold it then bought it back..It's a nice rifle and like you said, for the money spent who can argue?

That's a beautiful smoothbore but that's what you get from Mike. I have one of his rifles and will probably get another from him eventually. Can't recommend him too highly.
