We had a very good shoot this year despite the heat and haze on the second day. We had nine shooters this year, with this being the first year we had more LRML’s than BPCR’s in attendance. The course of fire was 20 scoring rounds with unlimited sighting shots and no conversions. This was fired at 200 and 300yrds on the first day and 600 yards the second day. This makes a total of 60 scoring rounds for the match with a possible 600-60x for score. The relays were 50min for BPCR shooters and 90min for LRML.

Firing started at 0800 sharp on Saturday the 9th on the 200yrd line with sunny conditions and light variable winds from the SSW. Once we completed on the 200yrd line we took a break for lunch donated by Dan Bredberg. We had an hour for a lunch of brats, baked beans and assorted chips and plenty of water and soda. We then began firing at the 300yrd line with moderate variable cross winds from the S.

On the second day, Sunday the 10th we had an hour and half delay before firing to allow a heavy haze to be lifted off the targets. Firing commenced at 0930 with flat conditions and rapidly warming weather with a high of 94F. We finished up at 1330 presented cash awards and everyone was on their way home early in the afternoon. All in attendance had a very good time and some suggestions were made for next years match as well as interest in a second match this year possible in October.
