Early this week I finally got started on a NW Trade gun kit I ordered from Sitting Fox.
So far Ive got the barrel, tang, trigger and lock inlet. That may not sound like much but these are definitely not plug and play kits, but a true challenge if you wanna do it right.
It looks like lots of wood to remove when shaping but just part of the challenge and satisfaction of doing things for ones self.
Ive got a long way to go but its been enjoyable.

Your statements are very true! You have lots of wood to remove for sure. It's amazing how much wood you need to remove to get to that final good looking slim rifle!!
